Product Description

This contemporary piece of American Art Pottery is kick-wheel thrown by Bill Mohl at his studio in Pennsylvania. Bill has been creating these unique pottery Aladdin oil lamps since 1970.

The oil lamp measurements vary but its' about 10 inches from the edge of the handle to the tip of the spout and stands about 6 1/2 inches at the tallest point.

Each Aladdin lamp is made with high heat resistant clay. The handle is pulled and formed while Bill uses a chopstick to form the spout. Multiple glaze layers are applied to create the variegated, marbleized finish. The wick never needs replacing.
